Up, down, up down, up down ...

I feel like a see-saw.

I was under 200 pounds for approximately 12 hours. LOL

I missed weigh in for two weeks, and in that time, I gained 5.4 pounds.

It is the most I'd gained in five years.

WAKE-UP CALL!!

The following week I lost 2.2 and then I gained 1.2.

See what I mean? See-saw?

Anyway, I'm trying really hard again to get myself in gear. We ran 26 miles this week, adding another 8.5 miler Sunday, so we can get our bodies used to waking up very early two days in a row as we prepare to run the Goofy Challenge in January at Disney.

Oh. Did I tell you that?

Yes. Along with eight other runners, I am training to run the Disney Half Marathon on Saturday, Jan. 8 as well as the Disney Marathon on Sunday, Jan. 9. Hence ... THE GOOFY CHALLENGE.

We are dressing as the Seven Dwarfs, and Ken ... the guy who bet us he'd dress up in anything we wanted him to if we agreed to run Goofy ... will be Snow White.

I'm hoping the jump in mileage and the little bit of weight training I've added will help me get down to 179. Or, 175, but let's not jump the gun.
