Weigh in

So.

I've gained 3.8 pounds in four weeks.

It could be worse, I guess.

But really? Could it?

The number on the scale is supposed to be going DOWN.

I don't have a problem with tracking. I do it pretty much all the time.

I also run between 15 and 20 miles a week, which is great.

But I've got to shake things up a bit.

Linn's already willing to work out with me on the days I don't run. I love that because I HATE weight training. I'd much rather go for a 4-mile run outside in 90-degree heat. Yup. I would.

So, this week I vow to weight train at least twice a week. Maybe three times a week. Let's see how that helps.

I'm also going to stop eating so much good food. That doesn't sound like the right thing to do, but when I tell you I can eat a vat of salad, I can eat a vat of salad. Too much of anything isn't all that good.

This week's promises: Weight train and portion size.
