I know. Yell at me. Go ahead. It's been almost three weeks since my last entry. The only reason I have is laziness ... but at least I'm not being lazy with my running!
Well, not totally.
I had to take off two days, one on Thanksgiving and then the following Monday. I got a really bad head cold and was worried about it getting worse. I nipped it in the bud and am back on track. (I also shortened a 6 miler to 4.5 because of lack of sleep.)
But in that time I ran the Palm Beach Half in a time of 2:52. It's not a PR, but we weren't running it for a PR. It was great fun. Well, the race was. I only got three and a half hours of sleep the night before AND I almost burned down the house when our toaster oven caught fire. Yikes.
Stuff still is on track, though! Linn and I are going to Sanibel to visit Dad and Sandy this weekend and I've already scoped out a five-mile route for Monday morning. Running along the Gulf of Mexico ... you can't beat that. =)
