I saw Santa on my run tonight! He was riding a bike instead of a sleigh. He sported a big belly and a big white beard. Instead of a red suit, though, he was wearing the tightest technical shirt I've ever seen on someone. I told him I've been good.
I caught the drawbridge on Dixie Highway and that's when I saw him. He was sweet. He asked me if I was training for an Ironman. I laughed and then told him I was training for two marathons. Then he laughed and said, "My goodness. That's pretty cool. Good for you." I think I fell in love.
Sheryl, Colette and I ran tonight, and we really missed the Sherrys and Christine! I'd been having a little pain in my right knee, but tonight ... nothing. Whee! I felt great. I'm so happy with my training this season, and I can attribute that to my continuation with Weight Watchers and my running partners.
As I sit here watching "The Biggest Loser" -- crying as usual -- I think of my running partners ... wait ... my running FRIENDS, as they are MY rock like these BL contestants are for each other. When I think of them, I smile. And that makes me happy!!
